Builders FirstSource has multiple locations, this location is our Greeley Yard location.

Purpose
Under direct supervision, provides sales and customer service activities primarily related to retail customers utilizing knowledge of sales techniques and industry knowledge.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides customer support to walk-in retail or contractor customers and responds to telephone and e-mail inquiries from customers. Assists customers with issues such as product selection, pricing, availability, and refunds/exchanges.
• Actively engages in selling company products/services and related items.
• Provides material estimates and quotes for small packages (stairs, decks, fences, sheds, etc.).
• Enters orders into computer system and schedules delivery of products.
• Handles and resolves simple customer complaints and forwards more complex issues to more senior staff for resolution.
• Other duties as required

Supervisor Responsibilities

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Minimum experience required: 0-6 months sales related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Competencies: Oral and written communication skills. Problem-solving skills.

In addition to the base wage listed, team members are also eligible to earn an additional incentive subject to changes in plan design and documents and in accordance with applicable law. Eligibility and the amount of the incentive varies based on the terms and conditions of the locations active incentive plan for the respective year.
